It's about five years old and from what i can see every other function works.
On the lid, underneath side, there is or should be a small plastic pin sticking out about 1/2 inch. I can drain it if i put the hose on the ground, but not if it's in its usual spot. Check that it clicks when depressed and the plastic striker on the lid isn't broken. What is the model number of your unit?
